Reviews
Aircast for planter fasciitis.
I have been wearing the Aircast Airheel on my left foot for 10 days now. It does seem to be providing relief. I am not sleeping in the brace. Holding onto hope it will help my foot to heal. The support feels good and helps relieve my foot discomfort.

Not supportive as an ankle brace but it helps my feet
The stabilizers on the sides are not meant to be as supportive as an ankle brace, but it has helped my arches that used to hurt in the mornings.

I got this for my husband's feet because he has terrible arch pain caused by plantar fasciitis. I bought two for both feet and he said they're helping his discomfort when he walks.

Q&A

Q&A for Aircast AirHeel Support with Stabilizers

  • From Barbara
    • Q: Is the air puff ball like inside called the stabilizer? Or is the stabilizer a metal rod?
    • A: The removable stabilizers contain 2 small plastic stays in the sides of the ankle for added ankle support. These stays prevent the ankle from rolling.
    • So far persons found this question helpful

  • From Debbie
    • Q: What are the stabilizers?
    • A: The stabilizers are two semi-rigid plastic inserts that are positioned at the top of the brace to give mild ankle support. They can be removed.
    • So far persons found this question helpful

  • From Ed
    • Q: How do I know whether I should order this brace or without the stabilizers?
    • A: The stabilizers are for ankle support and can be removed if you do not need them.
    • So far persons found this question helpful

  • From Brook K.
    • Q: I have Achilles tendinitis, bursitis, and a tear of the peroneus brevis tendon. I need a brace I can wear with my shoes to help relieve these injuries. Would this be the best fit?
    • A: The Airheel will help decrease pain associated with the Achillies tendonitis and bursitis because of the air cushions in the heel and in the back of the brace. The stabilizers in the brace will provide mild stability for your ankle.
    • So far persons found this question helpful

  • From Jessie Beale
    • Q: I just received my brace. Should I wear it all the time to start, or should I start off slowly with only a few hours at a time?
    • A: You don't have to increase the wearing time. You can wear the brace full time from the very start.
    • So far persons found this question helpful

  • From Erin
    • Q: Are the stabilizers removable? Do the stabilizers prevent the ankle from bending?
    • A: The stabilizers provide a little more support for the ankle but they do allow the ankle to move normally. They are removable.
