Great product, needs some design work...
It's a great product and truly helps with the pain of plantar fasciitis. I would like the ankle portion of the air cushion to be in a softer lined material. It's got some harsh edges and if you're not wearing high socks, it gets a little soar when wearing it all day.

So far it has helped
This brace is awesome I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis got a shot still had pain but used this brace one day and could tell it helped in just one day. You do need to wear a sock it will run on your leg but it helps with pain.

Thought you could wear it without socks...
This product might be ok if you wear socks but I wanted something that I could wear with sandals. The exposed material on the inside would cause blisters from friction. The photo shows no socks so I thought I could wear them with nothing.

Happy to find this here
These give me the support I need for my arthritic feet and ankles. Since I must wear them on both legs, I just wish they were also made in a shade of beige to wear in spring and summer when I can't hide them in boots.

My podiatrist originally gave me a set of 2 of this identical support brace. They are beginning to wear out and my clinic won't give me more so I was happy to find the identical brand and style on DME-DIrect.

Works Well
It works pretty well. I have a calcaneal spur and plantar fasciitis which also affected my achilles tendon. The air cells on the sole and the achilles add the necessary support and walking is more comfortable while wearing it. The way I wear this is strapping it on over the top of another bandage that covered my heel.

Comfortable brace
I was concerned after reading some reviews about product deflating or being uncomfortable. On the contrary...very comfortable especially in a shoe and no deflation. Wearing arch insoles constantly cause my foot to slip out of shoes...not this product! Highly recommend for wearing in slippers, tennis shoes, work shoes.

Glad I found it here
I've used these for years whenever I need to to give my feet support and stability when my knees hurt. Glad I found the Airheel here. It could use a liner to keep the seam from rubbing the skin.

Allowing me to stay on the court
Arch pain was sidelining my tennis due to excessive play for my aging athletic body - until I began wearing this around the house to recuperate. I have also played with it and it took some getting used to but allowed me to continue to play while I healed. I heartily recommend that you try it.

Just what we needed
Bought this for my son who has had heel spur surgery recommended, but cannot be done at this time. He is in the middle of job training that requires 5 mile runs. This brace, in addition to a lace-up ankle brace, has provided cushioning that has allowed him to run farther before the pain kicks in. So glad to have found this product!

Give it some time
I had a bone spur that required the Achilles tendon be moved and reattached. I was having pain six months later one side of the tendon. My physical therapist suggested I try this. It has helped quite a bit. It does take getting used to. It is bulky under my shoe at first, but when my foot is nestled completely in the shoe, I do not notice it.

Great product
I bought two of these after my first 2 pairs started to go after 2 years. They really help with my plantar fasciitis. These were the best price I could find and help the pain a lot and make my day bearable as I stand all day at work. I would definitely recommend them!

Into my second set
I am into my second set. The air bladders do fail after about 9-10 months. But they do the trick of relieving the discomfort from my plantar fasciitis secondary to ankle/achilles tendon injuries. They do last about 10 months for me. I wear them every day, at least 15-16 hours/day. This wear includes exercise periods as well. I look at the cost as a medical necessity, if you amortize the $30'ish over the 6 mos then it's actually cheap 'medicine' for a pain-free existence. I highly recommend them.

Supports my heel when I walk
I have been experiencing Achilles tendonitis and bought this to help hold my ankle steady when I'm not wearing boots. I think the design is ingenius, and it does support my heel when I walk and is quite comfortable and fits easily inside of shoes. The tendonitis hasn't completely disappeared, but I don't feel that's the fault of the Aircast AirHeel. It's been a good tool in the overall treatment.

Better fit on Right Foot than Left
I had PF in my right foot in the past and of all the things I used to be able to function with it I found the aircast airheel was the biggest help in getting through the day (I am a nurse). Now I have PF in my left foot. I tried my old aircast on it but it did not fit well I thought from wearing it on my right for over a year. So I ordered a new one. It still fits a little oddly but well enough that I can use it. The air bladder under the arch takes pressure off the heel and it is a huge relief. What I do is wear my really good shoes for a few hours and as my foot begins to get sore I put on the airheel. I change shoes when I get home. Last time I had PF for over 3 years in my right foot before having a PRP treatment which finally helped it to heal. I am hoping the Airheel will help enough where I don't need to do that again! I would give it 5 stars if it fit a little bit more comfortable around the ankle. I do like that it fits to wear my shoes over it.

Effective for my plantar fasciitis
My podiatrist sold me my first one and I went on the internet to get a second one as I have plantar fasciitis on both feet. They certainly do help when my fasciitis is acute. I wear one or both depending on need for at least one day, until the inflammation cools off, then keep them ready for my next attack. Worth having.

Great for running and Plantar fasciitis
I have chronic achilles issues and occasional plantar fasciitis problems that interfere with running. In the morning, they inhibit my ability to just walk across the room until I get loosened up. I have started to use this brace when I am running, walking, and standing for extended periods, and it has been amazing in reducing both pain and morning stiffness. I just got home from running a hilly 10K and I am pain-free and can still walk! It does feel a little strange at first and doesn't fit in some of my skimpier shoes, but in sneakers and running shoes it is fine. I don't like high socks so I put a bandaid around the back of my ankle to make sure the top part does not rub when I am running - so far no problems.

say no to cortisone
I walk around a lot in the airport and when traveling because its such good consistent exercise. My plantar fascitis was just becoming unbearable and that was looking to end my healthy habit. I bought some very expensive aids which didn't do much, so the Podiatrist wanted to give me cortisone shots (I didn't go along with that plan). Finally I bought an Aircast Air Heel. Within a few weeks the pain went way way way down. I have a spare at the office and always have one in the suitcase with me.
