It is comfortable and light. It looks like is going to protect my shoulder after my upcoming rotator cuff surgery.

The sling was delivered very quickly. It is light and fits me well, although the straps need to be trimmed because I am a very small person. The cushions are a bit big for me (even if it is a small size), but the doctor said they should be ok. I tried it on and felt comfortable. It should be very useful right after my upcoming shoulder surgery.

Great Company and product

The sling is very good. The service was great! I ordered at 3:00 pm Friday and it was delivered Saturday by 11:00 am. Overnight was expensive but it got here. I would definitely recommend ordering from this company.

Excellent product compared to traditional sling

I had rotator cup surgery and was given a traditional around the neck sling by the hospital which caused significant neck discomfort. I couldn’t imagine wearing that sling for the six weeks I was told I would need to use it. I was aware of the Breg Slingshot 3 sling through an ortho friend. DME-Direct provided excellent help over the phone and prompt delivery. Cost of the sling seemed reasonable at $107. That said, this was absolutely the right purchase. Moving the sling support from the neck to the shoulder/arm is a game changer! Do yourself a favor and buy the sling. Regarding fit, I am 6’ 6” tall and have a 37 inch sleeve length. I ordered the XLarge sling, in hindsight would probably have been a better fit with a Large size.

Comfortable sling

I recently had rotator cuff surgery and was given a Breg Slingshot 2 by the hospital to wear for 6 weeks. The strap across my neck was very uncomfortable after only 3 days. My husband had previously used the Slingshot 3 and said it was much more comfortable, so I ordered one. He was right! The Slingshot 3 has an extra strap that keeps the shoulder strap away from your neck and more evenly distributes the weight. The only issue I have is that the bump on the 3 is larger than on the Slingshot 2, so I did a bit of maneuvering and now use the smaller bump with the Slingshot 3 sling. Much more comfortable than a regular over the shoulder sling!!

The Slingshot 3 is way better with it's unloading shoulder strap than the ones that go around the neck.

Well made and fits my small size

The brace is well made and fits my 5'4" size body without issue. Measuring was easy (I took a size Small) and ordering was fast and easy as well.

Just what my doctor wanted me to use.

Product was exactly as described. My orthopedic doctor said to bring this Sling Shot 3 into the day of my surgery so I would have the brace when I went home. It arrived three days ahead of schedule. Great purchase.

Very good support with SlingShot 3

I'm 5'9. It was just right in the forearm length; had to read the directions in the beginning to make sure i adjusted the straps correctly to get the fit just right. The pictures helped immensely. Learned to put the velcro straps back on themselves when removing it to avoid having spaghetti straps sticking to one another. Very comfortable though and provided support for my rotator cuff repair. I'm currently wearing it all day.

Wish The Strap System Came in Size Options - Not Just The Sleeve Length

I have the same problem that Lynn mentions in her review of the Breg Slingshot 3. I am 5'8" and the pocket for my elbow is too low, even with all straps cinched as short as possible. (Note: Breg tells me that all sizes of the Breg Slingshot 3 have the same size straps. The only variable is the length of the forearm sleeve as you go from size small through x-large.) It may be that the best solution for people 5'8" and shorter is to choose a shoulder brace with the traditional 1-strap design.
