The ProCare Podus Boot is a lightweight, medical-grade orthopedic boot designed to support and protect patients experiencing lower extremity disorders related to trauma or immobility. Engineered with a durable plastic shell and soft poly/pile liner, this boot helps treat conditions such as pressure necrosis, ankle contractures, and postoperative hip rotation or abduction. Ideal for both in-patient and post-surgical care, this boot ensures maximum comfort, safety, and adjustability.

Removable Transfer Pad
Allows for limited ambulation during transfers; should be removed when in bed to reduce infection risk. -
Universal Fit
Designed to fit either the left or right foot. -

How to Apply the ProCare Podus Boot

Open all three straps and place the foot into the boot.

Ensure the sole of the foot is resting flat on the footplate.

Secure the straps in this order: forefoot, ankle, then calf.

Check that the heel is fully suspended within the boot.

Adjust the toe extension as needed using the thumbscrew.

Position the anti-rotation bar to the desired side and tighten.

For short-distance walking, attach the transfer pad. Remove it when in bed.
Important: The ProCare Podus Boot is not intended for regular walking. It should only be used for very limited ambulation unless otherwise directed by a healthcare provider.
Care Instructions

Liner: Hand wash with mild soap and air dry.

Boot Shell: Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Inspect skin every 8 hours during use for any signs of redness or irritation.
