McDavid right shoulder only braces

The McDavid brace did not fit very well despite using the recommended sizing chart. Also the brace is really designed for a right shoulder with the longer straps in the back reaching around to the front so the user can secure them in front of him. When used for a left should this does not work as the longer straps are in the front wrapping around to be secured in the back which does not work and for someone with a shoulder injury actually can exacerbate the injury. Was able to find company that makes true left-sided shoulders braces which fits properly and can be secured by the user in front. McDavid brace has been returned and would appreciate processing of full refund at your earliest convenience.

Really Great Product

My son wrestles and has a shoulder that dislocates. He is really flexible so it will dislocate on him all the time. Using this brace has helped him so much. It helps him to limit the shoulder from going too far. He uses also while working out. I would recommend this brace for anyone who is involved in sports and needs the extra support.

Over all very good

Does what it says, good support . Allows for some movement without pain. The negative is that you might need help putting it on properly the first time like me.

I just received my shoulder brace and I like it so far. Its a little different and I have to get accustomed to it, but I think it is going to help. I also really like the fact that I can put a hot or cold pack in the shoulder pocket. I am a 49 year old guy and work in a fairly labor intensive job. I hurt my shoulder and upper bicep at work and want to avoid shoulder surgery, so this seems like just the ticket. The price is really reasonable and it works for both the right and left shoulder. I have been moving boxes all day and the brace has stayed attached. I will definitely recommend this shoulder brace to others.

McDavid Universal Shoulder Support - great brace!

I use the strap on my brace when I play field hockey because it gives my shoulder more support. I take the strap off when I'm done playing and sneak a gel pack into its pocket inside to ice my shoulder. So I really use my McDavid universal shoulder support every which way. I like the fit and it's easy to getting into before practice. I have recommended it to other players on my team with shoulder injuries.
