For a stable fracture of the wrist/thumb, pediatricians can use the style with the thumb piece extension. The Wheaton Wrist Fracture Brace provides rigid support for effective healing. It's made out of har polyethylene plastic and has standard contact closure straps for for fitting. The innovative splint can be worn in lieu of a cast or can be used to transition a child out of a cast after a lower arm injury.
