The Hely & Weber Shields II Brace (6674) provides dynamic control of the patella, helping reduce pain and improve rehabilitation outcomes. Its Trakaderm® U-shaped buttress can be positioned to address multiple patellar conditions by aligning contact precisely at the symptomatic point, regardless of maltracking or tilt. The wrap-around design with independent thigh and calf straps conforms to leg contours, while medial and lateral spiral stays prevent bunching and allow full range of motion. Lightweight and low profile, the Shields II delivers secure patella stabilization without the bulk of traditional braces.
The Shields II (6674) is an updated version of the original Shields Brace (#5674). It features a sueded Lycra panel behind the knee to prevent bunching. for improved comfort and a more streamlined profile. For additional side-to-side support, see the Shields II Hinged Brace (6675).
