The product features neoprene construction for warmth along with wraparound side-pulls for adjustable compression with any activity. Moldable thermo-plastic stays provide semi-rigid control for the lumbar region that's comfortable yet supportive.

It's not as stiff as other back braces but it does have stays that make it somewhat stiff for support. The compression straps provide the support where I need it in my low back.

I've used this same brace now for about 10 years for my bad back. I have herniated a disc at L4-5 from a car wreck and this brace keeps the area warm and the compression helps my lower back. The neoprene quality is very good - it's thicker than some of the other cheaper options available.
