The Iomed Companion 80 Iontophoresis provides simplified iontophoesis treatment with an integrated electrical delivery system and treatment electrode design all in one. The product features an integrated battery pack inside that applies a low current over a long period of time to deliver medication with very low impedance for maximum effectiveness. The on-board circuitry is designed to compensate for skin resistance changes and effectively drive the medication into the tissue. The 24 hour patch design provides clinicians with an effective treatment modality that allows complete flexibility - patients do not have to be attached to a traditional iontophoresor unit with this all in one design.
