Has Really Helped
I've had swelling from an old knee injury for years. A friend told me about this. It has helped the swelling and pain so I can walk around at home and do everything I need to do. Insurance wouldn't pay so I got it anyway. My knee thanks you a bunch.

Get this for your knee surgery
I did not have this product for my first knee surgery and I wish I did. What a difference this product has made in my recovery. The swelling and pain were much less this time around. I only needed Tylenol for the first day to control the pain. Thank you.

Great
My local sports medicine doctor recommended this instead of a regular gel pack for compression during my recovery after knee surgery. I can see why. Insurance didn't cover it but it was cheap enough here and the shipping turned out to be free so that helped.

Worked very well on my knee
I had surgery to replace a torn ACL years ago, and the surgeon recommended the cryo-cuff. What a life saver after my skiing accident. I asked my doctor to prescribe the cuff for surgery and she had never heard of it, but after looking it up, she agreed it would help me. My insurance wouldn't pay for it but that didn't matter. I recommended this to an elderly friend of mine who has had knee injuries as well.

Velcro on pad pulled apart
The therapy and compression aspects are great, but the straps of the cuff itself was my problem. The Velcro strap material separated from the pad so it made it difficult to keep cuff in place. I got it replaced with DME-Direct easily. Very satisfied.

Cryo / Cuff for knee
This has been a fantastic product! Fill it up and the cold water fills up the pad surrounding the affected areas of my knee. I had medial and lateral meniscus surgery yesterday morning. I came home and immediately started with the Cryo/Cuff cold therapy and my knee feels amazing today, and no it is not the medication that is making it feel good. The compression is also helping a lot. It lasts about 8 hours or so before the water temperature starts getting warm. The flip up vent helps to release the pressure to make filling the cuff pretty straight forward..

Reduces swelling in my knee
After using reusable ice packs for my knee I found this online. It's easier to use, much cleaner, and no condensation to deal with. When I was using ice packs I would make 3 to 4 trips back and forth to the freezer. With the Aircast Cryo Cuff I can sit at the couch or lay in bed and just lift the cooler just above my knee and it fills in about a minute. After I disconnect the hose I get about 15 to 20 minutes of cooling. When the water turns warm again, I hook back up the hose, open the valve on the cooler, and let it drain/wait 5 minutes and repeat. One tip - place a small wash rag under the quick disconnect for the hose. That will save you from the couple of drops or so of water that runs out of the cuff side of the unit. Works great!

Best way to ice post-operatively
This is the same unit as the knee version with the small cooler and the plug in pump that forces the ice water through the cuff except this one is manual. It lasts a lot longer than any ice pack, stays cold longer and is worth every penny even if you only need it for 3-4 days post-op. I use this also for normal bumps and bruises. - I just used my device for an MCL knee injury. One point to keep in mind - you need a lot of ice to successfully use this unit up for post-op use. I had a 50 pound bag and went through it in a day and half but there is no better solution for icing post op pain. The knee version here is cheap compared to the $250 the orthopedist wanted to charge me for the same unit after my knee surgery.

Simple Cryo Cuff Knee Recovery System Anyone Can Use
This easy-to-use Cryo Cuff Knee recovery system is easy enough for anyone to use. I ordered the medium knee cryo cuff to go with my cooler and I was able to set it up as soon as it arrived. If you're looking for a simple setup and a system that won't break down then this is one to consider.

Replaced My Previous Knee Cooler With This
I had a previous knee cooler with a motor that I lent to my friend and she burned out the motor. I turned around and replaced it with this non-motorized cooler and it's the best cold therapy purchase I'v made and I've gone through three of these machines already. This cryo cuff knee with cooler is nice because it does not include a pump that will break down with a lot of use. The water drains from the cooler into the pad and stays cold for close to an hour. Much better design in my opinion.

Good device for recovery
My friend's doctor friend recommend the cryo cuff for my recovery from having a knee replacement surgery. I bought the aircast cryo cuff knee system with cooler thinking it circulated the water continuously but this is the gravity fed system. It's cheaper but you do have to swish the water around in the cooler and refill your pad ever so often so there is a little bit of work involved.

Great Product
The doctor recommended I get a cryo cuff knee for my ACL surgery so got this model after seeing all of the good reviews about it. I got the large knee because my leg is huge and the sizing chart recommended a large based on the circumference of my leg. The product provides great cooling and relieves the pain and swelling after surgery very well. I'm glad I made the purchase.

Five Stars
I bought the Cryo/Cuff for my knee surgery, because the units with the pumps were simply too expensive. I had a right, partial knee replacement on the outside aspect of my knee and works wonderfully. I didn't have too much pain from surgery, but this helped keep the swelling down which was nice. It works just like the description states - gravity fed ice water out to the cuff. It's very easy to empty the cuff back into the cooler. For quick icing after a total knee replacement or a partial knee replacement, this product does the trick!

Lasts long time, no drips
This cryo cuff knee is exactly what I needed for post surgical recovery. You fill up the cuff to provide good compression around your knee, and after it starts to lose the cooling effect, just let the water back into the cooler, swish it around a bit, and refill the cuff again. As other reviewers have recommended, filling the cooler with a frozen water bottle helps keep the water temperature colder for longer inside the cooler.
I wish the cuff wrapped all the way around the knee to ice the back but it doesn't by design. It inflates in front and on the sides which is perfect for me since my surgery was on my kneecap area.

Worth it!
This is an excellent product and I'm so glad I got it for my recovery. It's very helpful for cooling sore, painful knees, especially after surgery. The knee cuff clips right in and out so you can walk around and not worry about it leaking all over the floor. Worth it!

Cools the knee and makes the pain go away
I got the medium knee with my cryo cuff. It's a life saver for knee injuries. It keeps your knee cool without causing a freezer burn. The gravity cooler is not motorized so you don't have to worry about parts breaking down which is perfect!

Got this for recovery after a total knee replacement
I bought this for my sister who recently had total knee replacement procedure. The directions were easy to follow and it worked perfectly right out of the box. We called DME-Direct's customer service to help figure out how to drain the water out of the knee cuff when finished using it. They were awesome and answered all of our questions. Great purchase.

Husband Is Happy
After my husband used the device for the first time he was totally satisfied! After reading the feedback from other users, I used a frozen water bottle to keep the water colder - great! The water stayed cold in the gravity cooler for 7-8 hours. I would recommend this product to anyone getting over knee surgery.
