VitalWear VitalWrap provides both hot and cold therapy.  Perfect for arthritis and orthopedic post surgical pain.  Plugs into a standard wall outlet. 

The VitalWear VitalWrap provides hot/cold therapy by using ice and water for cold which can be heated later on for hot therapy as a viable "contrast" solution for treating post surgical and chronic pain conditions through the body. The VitalWrap system consists of a 1.1 gallon capacity cooler that has an adjustable temperature control setting from 40 - 105 degrees and adjustable compression wraps for multiple body parts. When water flows back into the control unit, it is re-cooled or re-warmed before cycling back into the wrap. Hot/cold therapy, along with compression, is delivered through the VitalWrap itself, and can continue even if the user chooses to disconnect the tubing set from the control unit. The typical transition time between the warm and cold settings in the temperature range is about one minute.  This unit is shipped with a multi-use wrap at no extra charge or a wrap for a particular body part at an additional cost.  See below.

What is a VitalWear Wrap? These wraps are designed specifically for each joint being treated and apply compression to the body part along with hot and cold therapy. Several different wraps are available.

Standard Multipurpose Wrap (00001): This 6 x 60 inch general purpose wrap is the most popular wrap. It can be used for calf, knee, hamstring, hip, back, chest and abdomen areas.

Large VitalWrap (00118): Measuring 8 x 72 inches, this is ideal for larger coverage of the leg or back.

Medium Shoulder (00119) or Large Shoulder (00395): These wraps can be used on either shoulder. Choose larger size for bigger adults.

Medium Knee (00397) or Full Knee (00392): The Full Knee wrap provides more coverage and is recommended for larger individuals or for use following a total knee replacement.

Foot?Ankle (00398): To be used for foot or ankle applications.

Elbow/Calf "Medium VitalWrap" (00255): This wrap is 4 1/4 x 53 inches.

Hip Wrap (00648) - For use on the hip.

Cervical (00122): Effectively treats the neck area.

Arthritic Hand (00392) or Wrist/Hand (00394): Choose appropriate wrap according to your situation.
