The TheraCool provides sustained, targeted cold relief for patients undergoing surgery and is particularly useful for managing pain and swelling after knee or shoulder surgery. This model has a veryr large 9.6 quart capacity tank for 7-9 hours of use, and an on/off switch on top of the lid for easier access. While many systems feature an internal pump that competes with space for both ice and water, the Theracool cold therapy has a unique integrated pump design which eliminates heat transfer to the cold water inside the cooler and allows more room for ice and water. The attached insulated hose assembly continuously circulates cold water through the specially designed, low-profile slimline blanket to bath the entire joint. The temperature can be easily adjusted using the rheostat flow control located on the outside of the cooler, which adjusts the flow of chilled water to the blanket. The TheraCool cold therapy system comes complete ready for immediate use- simply choose your slimline blanket from the pulldown menu below.
