The Brown Medical Seal Tight Cast Cover is designed to keep all types of casts waterproof in both the shower or bath. This item utilizes a special latex-free diaphragm ring to protect the cast from water getting inside - No messy strapping, pumps or velcro closures to deal with that can cause excessive tightness around healing broken bones! It's fast, easy and offers excellent protection while allowing complete freedom of movement. The polyvinyl cover is durable enough for everyday use, and allows enough room for movement inside. Seal Tight is reusable and is designed to last 6-8 weeks - the typical time period of need for a cast.  Seal Tight Cast Cover Features: - Watertight protection during showering and bathing.
- Seal-Tight has a patented application ring, which is quick and easy to apply. It eliminates the need for strapping, pumps or a velcro closures.
- Non-latex diaphragm stretches easily over the cast or bandage to form a waterproof seal.
NOTE: For use with adult walking boots/diabetic walkers, we suggest model 20106 (Wide Short Leg) which features a wider ring, allowing it to slide up over the boot heel. Use all other models for regular casts. - Durable polyvinyl cover prevents water penetration.
- Reusable - With normal care, lasts 6 - 8 weeks of daily usage.
Application Instructions: - If using with a cast, file or sand down any rough edges of the cast before applying the Seal-Tight cover.
- Hold the plastic ring and gently pull it up over the cast, bandage or boot.
- Once covered, push the plastic ring back slightly to form a good seal.
- After bathing, wipe dry the diaphragm with a soft towel before removing. NOTE: Do not pull on the cover to remove it - this will likely cause product failure.
Indications: Use for therapeutic care and daily showering or bathing to protect casts, bandages and/or walking boots. Available Sizes: Determine the correct arm model by measuring the length from the tip of the index finger to the opposite end of the cast, and add one additional inch for the final length. For leg casts, measure from the bottom of your heel to the top of the cast, and then add one additional inch for the final result. Next, measure the circumference of the arm or leg just before the cast to determine the "ring size" (opening) that is needed. Age and weight guidelines are based upon a child with a medium or average frame and body weight.
