Equalizer Walker

 

The Ossur Equalizer Walker is designed for ease of use and affordability. It is the lowest profile fixed walker on the market at just two pounds. The struts have a 5-7 degree flare to conform to the shape of the lower leg.  The sole is specially designed to dissipate any shock from heel strike with its honeycomb construction inside the foot bed. The Equalizer walker sole is also designed to allow for a more natural gait thus reducing stress on the hip and knee joints.   The open cell foam is easy to wrap around the leg and comfortably supports the foot and ankle to allow for proper healing of the injury.  It secures easily with standard hook and loop fastener strips running vertically down the front of the boot.  Five straps are used to secure the walker around the leg.  The Equalizer Walker can be used for sprains, foot fractures, and any post surgical application where immobilization of the foot and lower leg is required.
