DH Shoe and Unloading

The DH Shoe was designed for use in the treatment of plantar wounds. It's an excellent alternative to the post op style shoes with static pads (wool, felt, foam, etc.).  IThe offloading shoe accommodates the ambulatory and compliant patient for short-term treatment (1 to 4 months). This product provides a proven safe environment for the simultaneous use of wound care material.   The DH Shoe incorporates a specialized active offloading sole that can be easily trimmed to reduce stress around any size wound.  The hexogonal grids simply pop out one at a time for a perfect-sized donut under the injury site.

• Will accommodate bulky dressings.
• Super soft nylon upper with reinforced heel counter provides extra comfort and stability.
• Patented removable toe piece aides in wound accessibility for daily wound site inspection.
• Semi-rigid rocker bottom outsole.
• Easy to apply and modify.

Indications:  Diabetic foot ulcers and other plantar wound conditions.

Sizing: Based on typical men's and women's shoe sizes.

Replacement Parts: The insole can be replaced if necessary. To order with a second insole (spare insole), choose the appropriate size below. If no additional insole is needed, choose "none" in the replacement insole pull-down menu.
