Reliable - Need I say more?

I got this polar care unit, and a T-Scope post operative brace because of my knee surgery. Both worked very well for me. The cooler is small enough that my wife was able to fill it up and not struggle to carry it over to me -and she could put it in the sink to fill it with water. Some of the other coolers that we looked at were too large/heavy once filled up with ice and water. Thanks for this reliable unit.

Polar Care 300

I got a Polar Care 300 with the knee pad for my surgery. The product regulates the temperature for you around 45-50 degrees unlike the 500 where you can control the thermostat. The product has a pneumatic style compressor that does release excess pressure by making a barely noticeable "pop" when the pressure builds up. The pressure circulates the water through the hoses for you. I like its compact size and effectiveness. I would recommend the product to anyone having surgery. It makes a big difference in your swelling.

KNEE SURGERY SAVIOR

I had knee replacement surgery and was told by my doctor to get a cold therapy unit. I chose the Polar Care 300 because it's a good dependable unit. The cold water is circulated through a pad that covers the knee and it provides great pain relief. The water stays cold for about 6 hours and then you just replenish both the ice and water. I use it everyday and after I get back from physical therapy. My surgeon told me it was a good investment since my knee will take the better half of a year to truly heal. This was worth it and the free shipping at DME-Direct.com was also a big plus.

Great Value

This is a great product. I first had one 8 years ago after rotator cuff surgery. Then I had a partial knee replacement & the doctor gave me another product, which I thought was worthless, so I bought another one and am glad I did. This is the best product for icing that I've ever used!
