  • Our knee attachment wore out

    My knee pad was stored for a long time and had mold throughout. I found the right iceman knee attachment McGwire here and it fits and works like new again.

    My father has both knee and shoulder injuries and we found the right donjoy iceman pads here for his shoulder and his knee.

  • Great product that works

    Hi, I just had knee surgery and have had previous units. The Donjoy Iceman3 is a well designed unit, although a little heavy to carry when it's filled. The double walled clear design is just smart. Easy to see and dry without condensation (so far!).
    As for the McGuire pad, well not so brilliant. The wraps are so long they might interfere with circulation. I feel it doesn't apply all that well either. I had a Breg unit back in 2004'ish. I bought an extra pad just to freeze and use as an ice pad. I won't be investing this time, although I wonder if they cross fit? A cheap disposable 11" x 6" gel pack I used last night seemed a better cold for the 20 minutes. I'm testing tonight...Maybe the other pad works better. They'd say their pad works fine and they sell a lot of them. I've seen the competition, but it wasn't clear. The Clear Unit is a nice product though.

  • McGuire knee pad

    Just had a second procedure on my knee after getting an infection in the hospital. I called to make sure the pads and stuff were not used and/or returned. They specifically reviewed their cold therapy policy to let me know that they were on the same page and didn't want patients using anything that had been used after surgery and then returned.I appreciated this. Got my McGuire knee pad last week and it arrived completely sealed as promised.

  • Got my ac adaptor the next day

    Just borrowed a friend's Iceman but it was missing the power cord. I was going to get my ac power adaptor from another online site and they said they had it in stock. They called me back 4 hours later central time to tell me that they didn't have it and would have to ship it from Indiana (I Iive in Calif). Called DME-Direct and they delivered it the very next day to me.
