Best product thus far. This is exactly what my son needed. The product was on time with no delivery issues. My son loves the way it fits because he can still play in his football games without damaging his shoulder.

4/5 stars. The brace was pretty easy to attach to my son's shoulder pads. Fitting was straight forward and we tightened up the straps according to the instructions that came with the product. He will be able to practice and play the last 6 games of the season using this Donjoy SPA - Thanks.

Excellent Product!!

This brace is exactly what my son needed. He has a slight SLAP tear in his Labrum. Playing outside linebacker there is a lot of stretching out to make a play. This brace will help to prevent the shoulder instability from occurring on tackles. It is very adjustable for specific range of motion. I give it a 5 stars!!

Saved our son's season

Our high school trainer recommended the DonJoy Shoulder Stabilizer SPA. It was either season-ending surgery or try the brace so we went with the brace. Unfortunately, it was out of stock with the manufacturer's web site. I saw it was in stock here at DME-Direct and ordered it. They rushed the order and got it in time for the game on Saturday!

We have had 2 high school football Offensive Lineman and both have had shoulder problems -- dislocation and subluxation. Both have wanted to play through the season followed by surgery after. For one, the Sully Brace worked. For the other the Sully did nothing and he continued to have slipping. Tried several other things including the version of this brace that you put on like a vest under the pads.

This one is the best. Right now this is our best hope for him to continue a winning season and he said that his shoulder feels very stable in it

When you get the brace it's 2 parts. A part that wraps around your bicep and then an "X" shaped strap. The "X" is off-center so that 2 shorter straps wrap around the bicep and 2 longer straps attach to the shoulder pads -- 1 in front and 1 in back (opposite of the injured shoulder) using buckles that come with the brace. In addition to the buckles the brace comes with 2 screws and 2 t-nuts. There are pictures to show where the buckles should attach to the shell of the pads and you just drill a hole in the shell and use the hardware that comes with each each brace to attach the buckles.

I am a football coach for a high school team and see dozens of injuries every season. The main injuries occur with the shoulder. But with this product, my boys still get the chance to play so they aren't left out on the sidelines. Last season one of our star running backs dislocated his shoulder and was going to be out the rest of the season. But we got him into the Donjoy SPA and had him out to play the game that took us to finals. I swear I haven't seen a bigger smile on anyone's face than that boys.
