The RCAI TA Boot (also known as the RCAI Totally Anatomical Boot) is a top of the line pediatric orthosis, with a choice of static or range of motion (ROM) hinges that provides secondary immobilization and rehabilitation for the foot and ankle.

Choose from Static Hinges or upgrade to ROM Hinge Model that adjusts from 40? plantar to 20? dorsiflexion in 10? increments. NOTE: ROM Hinges are not available in Infant or Toddler Size.
Precision length adjustable hinge arms provide a more custom fit than most off-the-shelf pediatric brands (Available in these sizes only: Small, Medium, Large & XL).
Special Low Profile Version available for Sizes Medium, Large & XL. These can adjust from 12 - 14 inches). The Low Profile style is indicated for midfoot, forefoot and ankle injuries or stable fractures of the foot.

Indications: Mid shaft to distal tibial fractures, Achilles tear, ankle fractures and ligament damage.

Available Sizing: Measure Foot Length (heel to toe) and also Calf Circumference, then choose from below.

Infant: Foot Length 4 1/2 - 4 1/2 inches (11.4-14 cm), with Maximum Calf Circumference of 7 1/2 inches (19.1 cm). Height is 4 1/4 inches (10.8 cm).

Toddler: Foot Length 5 1/2 - 6 1/2 inches (14-16.5 cm), with Maximum Calf Circumference of 8 1/2 inches (21.6 cm). Height is 6 inches (15.2 cm).

Child: Foot Length 6 1/2 - 8 inches (16.5-20.3 cm), with Maximum Calf Circumference of 13 inches (33 cm). Height is 9 inches (22.9 cm).

Youth: Foot Length 7 1/2 - 9 inches (19.1-22.9 cm), with Maximum Calf Circumference of 14 inches (35.6 cm). Height is 11 inches (27.9 cm).

Small: Foot Length 8 1/2 - 10 inches (21.6-25.4 cm), with Maximum Calf Circumference of 15 inches (38.1 cm). Height is Adjustable from 12 - 14 inches (30.5 - 35.6 cm).

Medium: Foot Length 9 1/2 - 11 inches (24.1-27.9 cm), with Maximum Calf Circumference of 17 inches (43.2 cm). Height is Adjustable from 15 - 16.5 inches (38.1 - 41.9 cm).

Large: Foot Length 10 1/2 - 12 inches (26.7-30.5 cm), with Maximum Calf Circumference of 19 inches (48.3 cm). Height is Adjustable from 17 1/2 - 19 1/2 inches (44.5 - 49.5 cm).

XL: Foot Length 12 - 13 inches (30.5-33 cm), with Maximum Calf Circumference of 19 inches (48.3 cm). Height is Adjustable from 17 1/2 - 19 1/2 inches (44.5 - 49.5 cm).
