The Donjoy Hinged H Buttress Patellar Stabilizer is designed for knee instabilities along with patella tendonitis, subluxation or chondromalacia. The unique sewn-in "H" buttress provides compression across the bottom underneath the kneecap along with medial and lateral stabilization. The "bib" across the front completely covers the open patella look in the front along with the hinges on the sides. The patellar stabilizer has compression straps above and below the knee to reducing slippage and aid in overall support. The neoprene construction is designed to retain general warmth and promote circulation throught your knee. The patella stabilizer provides excellent stabilization for conditions resulting in poor tracking of the patellofemoral joint resulting in pain around your kneecap. This is a great brace for people who walk everyday, take stairs often, or have early onset of arthritis around their patella.
