Ossur Miami Lumbar Belt

The Ossur Miami Lumbar Belt has a slim, trimmable design that provides a great fit and optimal lumbar spine support. This page provides the ability to order the universal Ossur Miami Lumbar belt (slim) by itself, configure and add panels onto the belt for more support, or purchase parts separately for an existing belt. By adding panels onto the belt you create a full brace.

Mix and match the belt/corset and panels for an off the shelf product that offers a more customized fit. The following items are offered as individual components or replacement pieces for the Miami Lumbar belt:

Belt/Corset: The Miami Lumbar Belt is 8" high (20 cm) and contains a 10" high (25 cm) rigid panel in the back (posterior) of the belt. It is breathable and lined with an Aerospacer material to keep the wearer cool and comfortable. This unique fabric lining promotes air circulation. Choose corset size depending on your waist size.

Optional Anterior Panel: This front panel provides additional support around the stomach area. It is considered rigid (made of high strength plastic 2.6mm thick) and can be trimmed or modified to suit any particular body shape. Anterior panels are available in two sizes:

• Standard Anterior Panel - 8" x 10.5" (20 x 27 cm) for waists less than 46".
• Pendulous Anterior Panel - 12" x 18" (30.5 x 46 cm) for waist circumference of 46" - 66".

Optional Posterior Panel: Back panel is specifically contoured to wrap around your back and comfortably cradle your torso for enhanced immobilization of the lumbar region. The posterior panels are made of rigid high strength plastic 2.6mm thick, and can be trimmed or modified if desired by a medical practitioner. There are two types of Posterior panels and each comes in four sizes (see sizing chart tab above for details):

• Posterior Panel without Lateral Supports - Dimensions are according to size ordered, but this panel is best described as "egg" shaped and it attaches to the lumbar belt (corset) via hook and loop closure.
• Posterior Panel With Lateral Supports - This over-sized version features support for the back that extends and wraps around the sides like wings (lateral support). It provides a higher degree of support than the Posterior Panel without Lateral Supports.
