Open Patella Knee Sleeve

The BioSkin Standard Knee Skin is perfect for anyone who suffers from strains/sprains, chronic swelling, and arthritis of the knee.  This open patella knee sleeve enhances stability of the knee and does not stretch out like traditional designs.  Bio Skin material is thin, lightweight, and breathes to allow evaporation of perspiration while maintaining supportive compression. If you need to wear a knee sleeve for long periods of time then this is an excellent choice that will provide you with comfort during both everyday activity, as well as, with sports participation. This is easy to put on and take off as a standard slip-on model. The standard open patella knee sleeve design is generous and allows for unrestricted movement of the kneecap.

Available Sizes: For the best fit, keep in mind that BioSkin makes their products specifically for very fit, toned individuals that are serious athletes. The Standard Knee Skin is also meant to fit snuggly; If you are on the border of two sizes and aren't extremely toned, choose the larger of the two sizes. While standing with your foot flat on the floor, measure the thigh circumfernce 7" above the middle of the kneecap and at the middle of the patella as well.

 

Standard Knee Skin Application Instructions:

BioSkin should be applied to dry skin. Oils, lotions and perspiration will make the support harder to put on and will make it will feel as if it's sized too small. Dry the area of application before applying support. Take the open patella knee sleeve with both hands and stretch the top and bottom of the support two to three times. This helps to relax the material before it gets broken-in.



Start from a sitting position when applying the open patella knee sleeve.  Pull the entire sleeve past the heel, then from a standing position using both hands and a firm grip pull and center the sleeve over the patella. After a few minutes of wear the sleeve will conform to the leg.
