The Med Spec Gripper Knee Brace is an excellent model for post-operative use or sports activities to provide medial and lateral stability, and to protect against hyperextension of the knee.  This hinged knee brace is manufactured specifically to address the main concern of slippage down the leg by incorporating a 2" x 4" skinloc fabric patch over the calf which is tacky and thus grabs onto the calf muscle belly to maintain the propper position on the knee at all times.  The Gripper knee brace also features an open popliteal space behind the knee to eliminate any bunching and a wraparound design for quick fitting.  The hinge bars are made out of stainless steele for use in water or humid environments and slip into hinge pockets that are reinforced with ballistic nylon to prevent the hinges from poking through with aggressive use.  The straps are made from durable nylon as well to avoid fraying, and the back of the brace has nylon strap loops to keep the straps in the correct position at all times.  The Gripper hinged knee brace is manufactured 100% in the United States by MedSpec for excellent quality control.
