The BioSkin Hamstring Compression Shorts with Cinch Strap is breathable, light, thin, durable, hypo-allergenic, and machine washable all in a standard cut. The material applies medical grade compression and is the preferable treatment for nagging hamstring pulls and quad strains. This BioSkin hamstring compression shorts model includes a special cinch strap which is used to apply solid compression around the quadriceps, hamstrings, or your IT band on the side of the thigh.  You can adjust the tension from the cinch as needed for targeted compression right over the injury site.   An extra strap can be ordered for a minimal additional cost below. Studies show that the hamstring compression shorts reduce muscle fatigue and improve strength, power, and endurance at the same time.

Ultima is the lowest profile Bio Skin material and offers the best dynamic stretch providing true compression to the affected area.

Available Sizes: Measure your waist circumference for the correct size. BioSkin hamstring compression shorts are made of medical grade compression fabrics that will provide up to 7x more compression than cotton, Spandex, or Lycra materials. Customers with a medium to fleshy build, and/or those on the absolute borderline of two sizes are urged to choose the larger size as these shorts definitely run on the tight side.

Hamstring Compression Shorts Application Instructions

These hamstring compression shorts should be applied to dry skin. Oils, lotions and perspiration will make the support harder to put on and will make it will feel as if it's sized too small. Dry the area of application before applying support. Take the support with both hands and stretch the top and bottom of the support two to three times. This helps to relax the material before it gets broken-in.

1. Thee hamstring compression short is very compressive: stretch the leg openings vigorously, prior to application.

2. Step into the shorts. Using both hands with thumbs against the thigh and hands extended, move hands down the lower leg, gathering the material. Pull shorts up, one leg at a time, until waistband is just above the knee.

3. Repeat the procedure, pulling up shorts, until waistband is at crotch level.

4. Once again, gather the material, and pull over buttocks one side at a time.

5. Continue pulling up to waist level. Adjust for comfort.

6. Bottom of shorts should fit about 2-3 inches above the knee. Shorts should fit snugly in the crotch.

Applying the Cinch Strap

1. Attach the cinch strap to the strip of fastener loop on the outside of the leg with the buckle forward.

2. Wind the cinch strap around the leg, and through the buckle to the desired level of compression. Secure strap to the loop fastener.
