The foot drop brace models below range from the inexpensive to the more advanced carbon fiber models - all of which are designed  leading orthotoic and prosthetic manufactures.  These devices are designed to be low profile and take advantage of returning stored energy to assist in walking activities and reduce fatigue with clearing the foot from the ground.  Below is a brief description of each foot drop brace and its benefits.  Call for additional information or search for the product name in the "Quick Find" section to the left for a more detailed explanation of each product.

	Steady Strider Foot Drop Brace Plastic shell curves along the front of the ankle. Second strap secures to the laces for desired tension. Easy fitting in seconds. For mild to moderate foot drop. One size; Choose left or right.
	Ossur Leaf Spring Foot Drop Brace Low profile design eliminates foot/ankle rubbing. Energy return design. Comfortable fitting cuff. Easily trimmable with scissors. Two sizes; Choose left or right. The 27cm (10 3/4") Leaf Spring is contoured at the heel and calf for smaller individuals, and the foot length plate is shorter. The length of the plastic foot plate is 24cm or 9 1/2 inches.  The widest part of the heel opening is 6.5 cm or 2 1/2 inches. The widest part of the calf band opening is 9.5 cm or 3 3/4 inches. The widest part of the sole is 7.5 cm or 3 inches. It is 27cm or 10 3/4 inches tall. NOTE: The foot plate is trimmable, but the product can not be returned once it has been trimmed. The 30cm (12") Leaf Spring is contoured larger in the heel & calf areas, and the footbed is longer. The length of the plastic foot plate is 28cm or 11 inches.  The widest part of the heel opening is 8cm or 3 1/4 inches. The widest part of the calf band opening is 11cm or 4 1/4 inches. The widest part of the sole is 9.5 cm or 3 3/4 inches. It is 30cm or 12 inches tall. NOTE: The foot plate is trimmable, but the product can not be returned once it has been trimmed. 	Foot Up Foot Drop Brace Excellent for mild to moderate foot drop. Unique inlay fits between the laces and the tougue of the shoe.  Adjustable elastic inlay tension provides corresponding level of dorsiflexion assistance. 	Step Smart Foot Drop Brace Features durable Jacob Joint for customized dorsiflexion assistance. Three compression compoents included for customizing deceleration and toe off assistance. Fits easily inside any shoe. Lightweight. Low profile. Sizes:  Choose right or left and S/M or L/XL. S/M fits heel widths up to 63mm (2½ inches) and up to a Men’s shoe size 9 or Women’s size 10. The end of the footplate should land behind the metatarsal heads. The S/M footplate length is 6¼”. L/XL fits heel widths up to 76mm (3 inches) and up to a Men’s shoe size 7 and higher, Women’s 8+.
