Walkabout Walker

The Walkabout Walker features the lowest rocker bottom sole in the lineup of Donjoy walkers to make walking a breeze.  Unlike other brands whereby a rubberized sole is glue onto the bottom, the Walkabout features a one piece injection molded sole for long lasting durability and performance.  You can use this walker for everything from ankle sprains to stable fractures of the foot and ankle.  You can even use it for an achilles tendon repair whereby an optional heel wedge can be ordered below.  The Walkabout Walker features a soft foam black colored liner and is secured with standard hook and loop fasteners to immobilize the foot and lower leg to the struts on the sides.  Optional extension pads for the liner are available below to accommodate larger patients.  This model is stocked and is ready for immediate delivery.

Available Option: The Heel Wedge is a four inch neoprene padded foam wedge that is designed to fit under the heel when wearing a walking boot. It has 4 separate three-quarter inch tall sections that can be individually removed during achilles tendon rehab.
