This particular Donjoy knee brace features a split strap design that aides in placing evenly distributed pressure, through a lateral buttress, against the patella to keep it from subluxing or dislocating from typical everyday activities. This patella stabilizer incorporates his patented technology of using independent straps, which provide a consistent pull on the patella to effectively "capture" the kneecap during walking activities or sports.
