Donjoy Shoulder Stabilizer
The Donjoy Shoulder Stabilizer provides shoulder immobilization and controlled range of motion for shoulder dislocations/subluxations, rotator cuff tears, and acromioclavicular separations. This Donjoy model is specifically designed to protect the shoulder by limiting the degree of movement in the abduction (movement away from the side of the body) and external rotation (rotation into the position of scratching down the back from above) shoulder postions. The shoulder stabilizer features an adjustable arm cuff and to limit overhead motion and a strong, lightweight half jacket that provides a solid footing for the motion limiting straps to be effective in reducing excessive glenohumeral motion during athletic competition. This item is designed for returning to sports and offers the highest degree of protection available today. The Donjoy shoulder stabilizer is used by NCAA Division I teams throughout the country and is commonly used for football, hockey, and rugby.
