The Donjoy Economy Hinged Knee Brace is an affordable model that can provide your knee with mild to moderate support from a variety of knee injuries. This model features neoprene that's designed to provide additional warmth around your entire knee while the hinged knee design provides additional ligament protection. The economy hinged knee brace can be used for athletics, rehabilitation, or for prevention of injury to the knee joint. The aluminum uprights are both lightweight and strong. The combination of the straps and the pull-up design provide the knee with a secure, precise fit. The economy hinged knee brace is available with a popliteal cutout whereby the brace's material behind the knee has been cutout in the shape of an oval to eliminate bunching up in the back. It can also be ordered below with a buttress shaped liked a "U" just below the patella (inferior U buttress).
NOTE: Beware of Donjoy Economy Hinged Knee Brace models sold elsewhere as "clearance" items. This is old stock 5+ years that has been tried on/used by patients and is now being unloaded. These older items have significant differences in sizing, their overall fit, and do not perform like the newer model - or smell like the newer model. We buy only current stock from the manufacturer.
