 The Drytex Hinged Air Donjoy is a uniquely designed model for treating patella tracking conditions, dislocations and subluxations with an adjustable air-filled buttress. You can inflate/deflate the right and left halves of the buttress to create a stabilized medial or lateral "wall" to enhance stabilization of the kneecap with excellent results. The two valves are easy to adjust for a customized fit. The Drytex Hinged Air Donjoy is neoprene-free to provide better breathability for when you're playing or working in hot environments. It features a half wrap design on the back of the thigh for easier application and helps customize the overall fit of the brace around the larger sized thighs to prevent slipping. The Drytex Hinged Air Donjoy is frequently prescribed for treating malalignment conditions of the patella, and offers the ability to customize the level of support needed around your kneecap.
The inflatable buttress really helps keep my kneecap in the right place better than other products I've tried in the past.

The Drytex Hinged Air Donjoy is made out of nylon polyester Lycra fabric called Drytex. The above picture (of a different style brace) shows a sample of how drytex looks a little different than neoprene. It allows for improved airflow while still giving ample support and compression. Perfect for patients in warm weather climates and those with neoprene allergies or irritations.
