The Donjoy Armor is the strongest, off-the-shelf ACL  brace on the market and is designed for active people seeking ligament protection, excellent fit, and superb comfort. This model is constructed out of lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum for superb strength. The Donjoy Armor incoporates a patented Four Points of Leverage design to provide protection during extreme sports, as well as, for reconstructed or ACL deficient knee. It's routinely used by members of the U.S. Ski Team and the U.S. Snowboarding Team. This model is available in a standard regular length model, as well as, a ski model for shorter individuals or for use with ski boots.  The Donjoy Armor can be customized below to meet any athlete's needs - choose between the "Action" or "Ski" brace lengths, and then add the type of hinge desired to customize your brace -  now you're ready for everything from everyday use to full contact sports.

• Armor Action: This is a regular length brace and is perfect for anyone 5'8" and taller. Comes in three models: ACL, PCL, and CI versions (CI stands for "Combined instability". For example, CI = ACL + MCL tears).
  • ACL - has additional lower thigh strap across the front of the thigh.
  • PCL - has additional posterior gastroc strap in the rear.
  • CI - has both the additional thigh and gastroc strap for added ACL and PCL protection - most popular model.
• Armor Ski: This brace is suitable for people 5'7" and shorter or for use with motocross/ski boots where anyone 5'9" and shorter would be concerned about their boot hitting the bottom of the brace. The same ACL, PCL, CI versions (strap arrangements) are available.

• Standard/regular Calf or a Short Calf (for ski boots and where the patients calf bulk is less than a regular individual). Note: All Armor Ski versions come in Short Calf only.

• FourcePoint: Utilizes a spring mechanism to apply gradual, increasing resistance during the last 25 degrees of extension - Available on Armor Action ACL Standard Calf, Armor Action ACL Short Calf and Armor Ski ACL Short Calf versions only.

The TPAA is an elastomeric pull device that provides a strong dynamic pull on the patella when the knee moves into extension. Available Sizes: Measure the circumference in three places:

First, measure the thigh circumference 6 inches above mid patella. Second, measure the knee circumference at the center of the knee at the middle of the patella.  Thir, measure the lower leg circumference around the calf 6 inches below mid patella.
