The DonJoy MaxTrax Diabetic Walker provides a solution for treating plantar and diabetic foot ulcer conditions.  The MaxTrax Diabetic features Impax Grid technology which is constructed of pre-cut layered Plastazote foam. The bottom two layers of foam can be easily removed around the affected areas, redistributing load away from healing ulcers perfect for the proper diabetic foot ulcer treatment. The key benefit in the design is that the top layer of foam stays in contact with the plantar surface of the foot, not allowing “hot spots”. The MaxTrax Walker boot, DonJoy’s most popular model, features a wider footbed, malleable uprights and a shock absorbing heel for more effective foot ulcer treatment and easier management compared to a total contact cast. 

MaxTrax Diabetic Walker Features:

• Impax Grid technology (pre-cut layered Plastazote® foam) allows for the bottom two layers of foam to be easily removed around the affected areas, thus redistributing the load away from healing ulcers. The major benefit of this design is that the top layer of foam stays in contact with the plantar surface of the foot, therefore it doesn't allow “hot spots”.
