The Cowboy Collar provides enhanced protection against stingers and burner syndrome through a combination of utilizing shoulder pad stability in conjunction with the molded collar design to produce more effective protection for the cervical spine. The product produces a cantilever effect rather than a fulcrum effect associated with some neck rolls. The Cowboy Collar adds additional support to the sides and back of the helmet without restricting your natural movement. This model fits under shoulder pads easily and stays in place during aggressive football play. The product is made out of closed-cell polyethylene foam for comfort and is only 4 ounces. The Cowboy Collar may be used as a preventative piece of equipment or as a post-injury safety measure.
