BioSkin Groin Compression Shorts are breathable, light, thin, durable, hypo-allergenic, and machine washable. Studies show that groin compression shorts are excellent for rahabilitation following a groin injury and to also improve strength, power, and endurance during athletic events. Improvements in explosive burst of power result from reduced muscle oscillation, improved proprioception, hip positioning, and the psychological benefits derived from wearing the groin compression shorts. This item comes with an adjustable, removable groin strap which is wrapped around the area like a tape job to apply pinpointed compression over the area of tenderness to help decrease pain with forward hip movement. This product is a true groin compression shorts product and does NOT stretch out like models made out of Spandex or Lycra fabrics.

These groin compression shorts are made out of BioSkin Ultima which is a three layer laminate. Two nylon lycra layers sandwich an ultra-thin Smartskin membrane. This membrane gives the fabric its power and recovery. The breathability of the Smartskin membrane also allows for the release of perspiration more easily than competitor's fabrics.

Available Sizes: Measure the circumference of the waist and choose the correct size from below. For the best fit, keep in mind that these groin compression shorts are specifically cut for very fit, toned individuals that are serious athletes. The shorts are meant to fit snuggly, but if you are on the border of two sizes and aren't extremely toned, choose the larger of the two sizes. NOTE: BioSkin is able to sew this item in XS also. XS is a semi-custom size for waists of 24"-28". If you need XS, there is a 25% surcharge and the item can not be returned. Please call or email us for details.
Groin Compression Shorts Application Instructions
BioSkin should be applied to dry skin. Oils, lotions and perspiration will make the support harder to put on and will make it will feel as if it's sized too small. Dry the area of application before applying support. Take the support with both hands and stretch the top and bottom of the support two to three times. This helps to relax the material before its gets broken-in.
1. BioSkin shorts are very compressive. Stretch the leg openings vigorously, prior to application.
2. Step into the shorts. Using both hands with thumbs against the thigh and hands extended, move hands down the lower leg, gathering the material. Pull the groin compression shorts up, one leg at a time, until waistband is just above the knee.
3. Repeat the procedure, pulling up shorts, until waistband is at crotch level.
4. Once again, gather the material, and pull over buttocks one side at a time.
5. Continue pulling up to waist level. Adjust for comfort.
6. Bottom of shorts should fit about 2-3 inches above the knee. Shorts should fit snugly in the crotch.
Applying the Wrap:
1. Examine the Wrap and identify the hook and loop fastener.
2. Sit on the edge of a chair. If wrapping the right leg, hold loop in left hand and place it (loop facing up) over your left pocket (hip area). Bring the wrap around back of waist till the hook end is above the right leg.
3. Drop the hook end between your legs. Reach behind your right leg with your right hand and grab the hook end. Stand up, bringing the wrap up and around the right thigh. Attach the hook to the loop.
4. Adjust and equalize tension throughout the length of the groin wrap by sliding hands between wrap and shorts. Be careful to eliminate wrinkles and bunching of groin wrap.
* Reverse process for left leg.
