The Zensah Shin Splint Compression Sleeve is a dual action product that was designed by certified athletic trainers and high level athletes. The front of the shin sleeve is ribbed in a chevron or inverted v tape job pattern to help provide additional compression, support and pain relief in the muscles of the leg- thereby reducing the possibility of shin splints. The shin splint compression sleeve also has deep grooves in the ribbing which also stimulate increased blood circulation so that oxygen gets to the muscles in the shin and calf region quicker. The back of the shin sleeve is uniquely contoured to provide support for the achilles and the lower leg. The pattern on the back (vertical lines) mimics the muscle orientation of your calf muscles. It is preferred by athletic trainers, coaches and players because of its warmth, compression and support. For those with skin sensitivities, Zensah proprietary material is made without latex or neoprene- perfect for anyone with skin sensitivities.
