Our Breg Polar Care 500 accessories are all original, factory sealed replacements parts designed to keep your cold therapy unit running smoothly. Below you will find pumps, hoses, transformers, Y adaptors, wrapon pads, and bowtie items for your existing system.  The replacement parts are all genuine Breg parts found with the PC 500 device when the units are shipped to customers everywhere. Polar Care 500 Cooler Only - No Pad: Features a unique in-line thermometer and flow valve to provide accurate temperature control between 35° - 70°.  Can provide 8 - 11 hours of continuous cold therapy. The first choice in the pull-down menu below is the Breg PolarCare 500 System without any pad. NOTE: You must have a pad to operate the system.

Bowtie (Pump Bracket): The Bowtie is the plastic figure 8 piece that wedges inside the cooler to hold the pump in place so that it remains upright.

Pump with Transformer: The standard pump is a white, bulb-like object attached to a four foot hose and is shipped with the three prong transformer for Polar Care 500 unit.

Pump without the Transformer: This is the standard white, bulb-like pump attached to the four foot hose (No transformer included).

Y Adaptor: The Y adaptor plugs right into the end of the hose where the Wrap-On pad normally plugs in. Two pads can then be attached and used at the same time. Perfect for bilateral knee surgeries.

Three Prong Transformer: The three prong transformer plugs right into the hose to provide electricity to the pump.

WrapOn Polar Pads (choose size needed, see below): The Breg WrapOn Polar Pads are very durable, with polyether urethane sheets that are ultrasonically welded for strength. They are Latex-free for allergetic patients. Ergonomic straps keep the pad in place and as an added benefit, they provide compression.

Polar Pads and Polar Wraps: Breg Polar Pads are similar to the WrapOn pads but they are more economical. They do not have a strap system to keep the pad in place, so  typically you would use an additional Polar Wrap or bandage to secure the pad around the body part that needs the cold therapy. 

• Polar Pad Choices: Sterile Knee/Shoulder (02330) or Non-Sterile Knee/Shoulder (02320).
• Polar Wraps: Shoulder S/M (02653) or Shoulder L/XL (02655)- designed to hold the sterile or non sterile knee/shoulder polar pad in place on your shoulder.

Polar Dressing Sterile Barrier: For a sterile moisture barrier between your skin and the pad, Polar Dressings can be used in conjunction with a WrapOn Pad or a Polar Pad. The manufacturer recommends using a polar dressing sterile barrier to protect your skin from extreme cold (ie cryo burn) when using a Breg cold therapy system. (NOTE: Wrap-On Pads are not classified as "sterile" and are not intended to be a substitute for a sterile barrier).
