This brace is available with three different Hinge options: Simple Hinge, Simple Hinge with QuickLok, and Multi-Centric Hinge.
- Simple Hinge - limits extension from 0? to 90?; flexion from 0? to 135?; and positively locks from 0? to 90? in 15? increments. No tools required to set the limits.
- Simple Hinge with the QuikLok - allows the hinge to be rigidly locked at 0? with the flip of two cam levers.
- Multi-Centric Hinge - For positive ROM control, the Multi-Centric Hinge limits extension and flexion from 0?-120?, and positively locks at any angle within its range. Designed with two eccentric cam slots, the Bledsoe Multi-Centric Hinge anatomically tracks like a knee. As a result, when properly applied, the Bledsoe Original Knee Brace with Multi-Centric Hinge offers infinite ROM from 0?-120?.
Indications: This device is indicated for immediate application to knees for locked or limited motion control of knee during rehabilitation, after operative procedures or injury to knee ligaments, cartilage, or stable or internally fixed fractures of the tibial plateau, condyles, or proximal tibia and distal femur. Also indicated for immediate post-injury application for stable, non-displaced or internally fixed fractures of the middle to distal femur and the proximal to middle tibia or fibula when using the optional fracture bracing plates and shoe insert.
This device is contraindicated for unstable fractures or for fractures of the proximal femur or the distal tibia or fibula.
