The Bledsoe Conformer Diabetic Boot features a fully enclosed thick, but breathable foam cocoon attached to a unique auto-molding innersole which embeds into a specially designed pre-molded mid-sole insert in an aluminum shelled walking boot. This unique Automold Dual Density foot-bed is designed to evenly distribute body weight across the entire bottom surface of the foot, and up to one inch high on all sides of the foot. The auto-molding innersole features a skinned, cleanable smooth surface that molds itself to the foot shape. The pre-molded mid-sole is specially designed to enhance perimeter and side loading better than a total contact cast. The fully enclosed cocoon completely encases the foot and lower leg to provide maximum protection. Studies show the Bledsoe Conformer Diabetic Boot distributes pressure to the sides of the foot thereby reducing peak pressure on the bottom by 30%, on average, compared to a total contact cast.

Bledsoe Conformer Diabetic Boot Features:

• Aluminum boot shell and upright system that, unlike plastic boots, can be reformed to fit virtually any leg or ankle shape
• Can be removed for daily cleaning, dressing changes and medication
• A unique "Automold" triple density footbed comprised of an auto-molding innersole and a new pre-molded dual density midsole is designed to evenly distribute weight across the entire bottom surface of the foot, and up to one inch (2.5 cm) on all sides of the foot. The innersole molds itself to the foot shape while the midsole is specially designed to provide maximum perimeter loading superior to a total contact cast
• Versatile - use one device for the entire duration of treatment
• Optional air ankle/heel pad allows for ability to adjust ankle pressure for increased comfort and provides pneumatic ankle support

Indicated: to replace total contact casting for the treatment of ulcerative or pre-ulcerative conditions of the bottom of the foot. Bledsoe Conformer Diabetic Boot is also indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe plantar fasciitis or other foot conditions that would benefit from a more even distribution of body weight on the sole of the foot.

This device is not recommended where severe foot deformities cause the shape of the foot not to fit within the confines of a boot shell that is up to one size larger than the proper size shown on the Ordering Information chart.

Ordering Instructions:
Available in 6 size ranges in both left and right. Each size range will accommodate Men's or Women's shoe sizes. The following shows the available sizes:

• Mens 4-5.5, Women's 5-6.5, Euro 35-37, Max. Foot Width: 3 9/16"
• Mens 6-7.5, Women's 7-8.5, Euro 37-39.5, Max. Foot Width: 3 3/4"
• Mens 8-9.5, Women's 9-10.5, Euro 40-42.5, Max. Foot Width: 4 1/16"
• Mens 10-11.5, Women's 11-12.5, Euro 42.5-44.5, Max. Foot Width: 4 5/16"
• Mens 12-13.5, Women's 13-14.5, Euro 45-47, Max. Foot Width: 4 5/8"
• Mens 14-15.5, Women's 15-16.5, Euro 47.5-49.5, Max. Foot Width: 4 13/16"

Choose from the following options:

• Right or Left
• Single Cuff (Conformer I) or Double Cuff (Conformer II: add $50.00). For long-term use, or when sores will be draining a lot, the Conformer II comes with two cuffs so that one can be laundered while the other is in use.
• Ankle/Heel Pad or Air Bladder Ankle/Heel Pad (add $15.00)
• Molded Inner Boot Kit (Specify Right or Left & Size). This kit (used mostly by physicians offices) consists of a cuff with auto-molding inner sole, mid-sole, posterior support plate & calf straps.
• Shell Kit (Specify Size). The shell kit provides medical professionals with additional components for the Conformer. The kit includes aluminum shell, arms and forefoot straps.
