Bledsoe Brace Systems
Back in 1982, Dr. Craig Pointdexter asked Gary Bledsoe to create a simple, removable hinged post-op knee brace to replace the "hinged casting" method that was the standard protocol. He relished this task (because wearing a heavy plaster cast with hinges was hot, itchy and uncomfortable) and Gary Bledsoe became the creator of the worlds first modern post-op knee brace!
Gary Bledsoe continues to research and develop orthopedic braces and in 2009 he had another major breakthrough - Magnesium Alloy as a lightweight yet incredibly strong knee brace material.
Now teamed up with Greg Nelson, an industry pioneer with over thirty years of orthopedic manufacturing and marketing, Bledsoe remains a leader in orthopedic bracing.
