Bledsoe Axiom and Knee Brace
The Bledsoe Axiom OTS is an off-the-shelf sport functional knee brace designed for instabilities of combined ACL and PCL injured knees. The Axiom knee brace provides added knee protection toward injuries to the medial and lateral collateral ligaments with its unique metal alloy construction. The brace is designed to not bend or crack like like typical carbon fiber models. The Axiom ACL brace has a swiveling posterior calf strap and a tacky calf gripper pad that locks onto the gastroc muscle belly to prevent the brace from sliding down out of place. The hinges features soft rounded edges to prevent snagging on clothing or equipment. The buckles feature a unique rachet closure design which reduces wear and tear on the straps and allow for quicker fitting compared to conventional buckles. Indications:
- The Axiom knee brace is indicated for increased support of knees following injury to or reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament, posterior cruciate ligament, medial or lateral collateral ligament, or menisci either alone or in combinations.
- Also indicated for increased support for patients who have continued symptoms of giving way, poor quadriceps or hamstring strength, or a desire for an early return to sports activities.
Available Options:
- Neoprene Undersleeve- helps the brace stay on better for people with little muscle bulk (calf).
- Lycra Undersleeve- Helps the brace stay on better for people with little muscle bulk; breathes better than Neoprene.
- Padded Cover- provides additional brace protection; fits over the brace.
- Unpadded Cover- same as above; without the padded lining.
- Strap Kits- replacement straps for the Bledsoe Axiom OTS Brace.
Available Sizes: Measure the thigh circumference 6" (15 cm) above and the calf circumference 6" (15 cm) below mid patella. Round measurements to the nearest 1/2" (1 cm) increment [ex. 19-3/8" (49.1 cm) - enter as 19-1/2" (49.5 cm)]. Using this rounded measurement, select the appropriate size below.
