Gel Ankle Brace

The BioSkin Visco Gel Ankle Skin is used to control swelling and increase ankle joint awareness after an acute ankle sprain, or to reduce chronic pain and edema associated with arthritis. The gel ankle brace has a silicone shaped J built in to help compress swelling away from the lateral ankle joint.  The BioSkin Visco Ankle is available in two styles - with or without a figure 8 wrap for additional support. The figure 8 strap wraps around the gel ankle support to provide addedl compression to manage chronic swelling, and for additional ankle sprain protection. BioSkin is a neoprene-free material that is designed to provide support like neoprene yet breathes to keep you cool and dry.

• The BioSkin Visco Ankle Skin includes "J" pads around the ankle bones that massage the soft tissues and provide additional compression against ankle joint swelling; the perfect gel ankle brace.
  
• The Figure-8 Wrap (optional) provides added ankle support similar to an athletic tape job.
• The Hook and loop rear closure allows for easy application of the ankle brace.
• The Visco Ankle Skin has a micro-fleece lining with an anti-microbial finish for extra comfort.

Ultima is a three layer laminate. Two nylon lycra layers sandwich an ultra-thin Smartskin membrane. This membrane gives BioSkin its power and recovery. The breathability of the Smartskin membrane also allows for the release of moisture vapor. Ultima is the lowest profile BioSkin material and offers the best dynamic recovery after being stretched.
