The BioSkin Visco Gel Ankle Skin is used to control swelling and increase ankle joint awareness after an acute ankle sprain, or to reduce chronic pain and edema associated with arthritis. The product has a silicone J shaped gel built in to help compress swelling away from the lateral ankle joint. The BioSkin Visco Ankle is available in two styles - with or without a figure 8 wrap for additional support. The figure 8 strap wraps around the gel ankle support to provide added compression to manage chronic swelling, and for additional ankle sprain protection. The Visco Ankle Skin is made out of Ultima material that's both thin and breathable. It's ideally suited for individuals with skin sensitivities. This model can be used for providing more support for weak ankles or for reducing chronic swelling due to arthritis or an old ankle injury.
