The BioSkin Q Brace Front Closure patella stabilizer knee brace offers dynamic patella control along with an easy front closure. This model features a T strap that allows multiple patella tracking options and precise control of the patella. The ends of the strap attach to the medial (inner) side of the brace giving the desired medial pull and The Q Brace encourages normal patellar tracking for patients with chondromalacia, patellofemoral pain, or following a lateral release surgery. This patella stabilizer knee brace is made out of the revolutionary BioSkin material which is latex and neoprene free while providing the same strength and durability, in an anterior closure model. It allows heat and perspiration to escape easily allowing you to stay cool and dry in hot environments.
This BioSkin Q Brace version is made from Ultima 2sL which has a soft, anti-microbial micro-fleece that quickly wicks perspiration away from the skin.

Available Sizes: BioSkin makes their products specifically for very fit, toned individuals that are serious athletes. The Q brace is also meant to fit snuggly like a second skin; If you are on the border of two sizes and aren't extremely toned, choose the larger of the two sizes. While standing with your feet flat on the floor, 3 measurements should be taken:
Measure at 7" above mid-patella.
Measure at mid-patella.
Measure at 6" below mid-patella (the thickest part of the calf).
Then, compare those measurements to these to confirm your size:
S = 18-20" @ 7" above mid patella, 13-14" @ mid-patella, 10-12" at largest part of calf
M = 20-22" @ 7" above mid patella, 14-16" @ mid-patella, 12-14" at largest part of calf
L = 22-25" @ 7" above mid patella, 16-17" @ mid-patella, 14-16" at largest part of calf
XL= 25-28" @ 7" above mid patella, 17-19" @ mid-patella, 16-18" at largest part of calf
XXL = 28-32" @ 7" above mid patella, 19-21" @ mid-patella, 18-20" at largest part of calf
Anterior Closure Patella Stabilizer Knee Brace Application Instructions:
Take the support with both hands and stretch the top and bottom of the support two to three times. This helps to relax the material before it gets broken-in.
1. Begin application while in a sitting position with the knee slightly bent.
2. Holding the brace behind the knee, attach wrap portion above the knee first and then attach the wrap below the knee.
3. Attach the straps behind the knee.
