The BioSkin Patella Stabilizer is designed to capture the patella and fits like a second skin. This knee brace is used to treat a variety of conditions affecting the patellofemoral joint including tracking problems, chondromalacia, and patellar tendonitis. It comes with both an interchangeable horseshoe-shaped and a full circular patella buttress to customize the type of stabilization desired. It's offered in both an open or a closed design across the front of the knee. The closed kneecap stabilizer design is used to prevent anterior window swelling in front of the knee. Bioskin material is strong, lightweight, and allows heat and perspiration to escape keeping you cool and dry. Over time the material stretches out less compared to typical orthopedic supports. Inner and outer vertical stays prevent rolling down and bunching up of the brace behind the knee.

Available Sizes: For the best fit, keep in mind this item is cut specifically for very fit, toned individuals that are serious athletes. The Patella Stabilizer is meant to fit snuggly like a second skin; if you are on the border of two sizes and aren't extremely toned, choose the larger of the two sizes. While standing with your feet flat on the floor, measure the circumference around the middle of the knee and 7" above the middle of the kneecap.
