BioSkin Hinged Knee Skin

The BioSkin Hinged Knee Skin is the lightest slip-on, closed patella knee brace on the market today. It is constructed of a durable three layer laminate composed of an ultra-thin Smartskin membrane sandwiched between two nylon lycra layers. This membrane gives the material its strength necessary for sport activities like football, basketball, skiing, and soccer. A donut-shaped buttresses is included with this model. The BioSkin Hinged Knee Skin provides both stabilization of the kneecap, as well as, medial/lateral ligamentous support during daily activities and sports participation. The product features finger loops (for ultima and ultima2s versions only) that enable easy pull-on application, and is available in an open or closed patella design.  It can be ordered below in three different BioSkin materials: Ultima (standard), Ultima 2s (slightly thicker with an anti-microbial fleece for the inner lining) or Stratus which closest to neoprene.  The BioSkin Hinged Knee Skin picture below shows the open model in ultima or ultima2s - on the closed patella model there is fabric across the front of the knee.

Available Sizes: For the best fit, keep in mind that BioSkin makes their products specifically for very fit, toned individuals that are serious athletes. The Hinged Knee Skin is also meant to fit snug, but if you are on the border of two sizes and aren't extremely toned, choose the larger of the two sizes.
