Hinged Knee Brace

The BioSkin Hinged Knee Skin is a slip-on, neoprene-free, open patella hinged knee brace constructed of a durable three layer laminate composed of an ultra-thin Smartskin membrane sandwiched between two nylon lycra layers. This membrane gives Bio Skin its strength necessary for sport activities like football, basketball, skiing, and soccer. A donut buttress is included with this model. The hinged knee skin provides both stabilization of the kneecap, as well as, medial/lateral ligamentous support during daily activities and sports participation. The product when ordered with ultima or ultima2s material features finger loops that enable easy pull-on application, and is available in an open or closed patella design.  The Stratus version of this brace does not have pull up tabs on the top of the brace.

Choice of materials: It can be ordered in three different BioSkin materials, Ultima (standard), Ultima 2s (slightly thicker with an anti-microbial fleece for the inner lining) or Stratus.

Available Sizes: For the best fit, keep in mind that BioSkin makes their products specifically for very fit, toned individuals that are serious athletes. The Hinged Knee Skin is also meant to fit snuggly, but if you are on the border of two sizes and aren't extremely toned, choose the larger of the two sizes.
