Hinged Knee Brace

The BioSkin Hinged Knee Skin is a slip-on, neoprene-free, hinged knee brace constructed of a durable three layer laminate composed of an ultra-thin Smartskin membrane sandwiched between two nylon lycra layers. This membrane gives Bio Skin its strength necessary for sport activities like football, basketball, skiing, and soccer. With two interchangeable patella buttresses (horseshoe and a donut) included with this model , the hinged knee skin provides both stabilization of the kneecap, as well as, medial/lateral ligamentous support during daily activities and sports participation. The product features finger loops that enable easy pull-on application, and is available in an open or closed patella design.  It can be ordered in two different BioSkin materials, Ultima (standard) or Ultima 2s (slightly thicker with an anti-microbial fleece for the inner lining).

Hinged Knee Skin Features:

• Knee brace features a lightweight offset bi-centric hinged design that reduce pressure at the knee joint and provide advanced medial and lateral support for the Medial collateral ligament (MCL) and the Lateral collateral ligament (LCL).
• The product's unique strapping system minimizes brace slippage down the leg and ensures a secure comfortable fit.
• Hinged knee design delivers support/stabilization for the patellofemoral joint. Unlike other typical products, this model comes shipped with both a donut and a horseshoe buttress which can be alternated to allow for more customized support.

Available Sizes: For the best fit, keep in mind that BioSkin makes their products specifically for very fit, toned individuals that are serious athletes. The Hinged Knee Skin is also meant to fit snuggly, but if you are on the border of two sizes and aren't extremely toned, choose the larger of the two sizes.
