Gladiator XT Sports Knee Brace

The BioSkin Gladiator XT Sports Knee Brace is designed to provide sport protection and knee support for mild to moderate anterior cruciate, posterior cruciate, lateral collateral and medial collateral ligament stability with its heavy hinge style. This Gladiator model is uniquely constructed out of thin, breathable Ultima material which provides the same stretch characteristics of typical knee brace designs. The material keeps you cool and dry instead of trapping perspiration against the skin. The XT, also now know as the "Sport" is uses what's known as a pivot-point leverlok strapping design whereby the strapping sequence effectively stabilizes the knee during cutting and pivoting activities more so than typical lower priced hinge knee braces. This knee brace provides sports protection with its polycentric hinge design which mimics the knee joint's natural movement.  This version is 15" long and can be used for skiing, football, basketball and for recovery from serious ligament injuries of the knee.

• The Gladiator XT is designed for mild to moderate Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL), Medial collateral ligament (LCL), and Lateral collateral ligament (LCL) tears or sprains.
• The Pivot-Point LeverLok design stabilizes knee instabilities: The polycentric hinge positions at the mid-section of the knee.
• The knee brace features an open patella design for comfort and sports use.
• The strapping is secured to the uprights to control anterior or posterior lower leg movement.
• This strapping system locks out the levering motion caused by ligament instability.
• Easily adjustable ROM settings: Range of motion (ROM) hinge includes extension stops at 0, 15, 30, and 90 degrees, and flexion stops at 0, 15, 30, 60, and 90 degrees.

Available Sizes: For the best fit, keep in mind that BioSkin makes their products specifically for very fit, toned individuals that are serious athletes. The BioSkin Gladiator XT is meant to fit snuggly; if you are on the very border between two sizes and aren't extremely toned, choose the larger of the two sizes. While standing with your foot flat on the floor, measure the circumference at the middle of the knee and 7" above mid patella for accuracy.
