The BioSkin Calf Sleeve is constructed of Ultima 2s material (strong, thin, moisture-wicking, neoprene-free material) which provides full length compression for both the calf and leg region. This shin splint compression sleeve provides excellent support to help reduce pain associated with shin splints, strains, and contusions. Bio Skin Calf leeves are light weight, hypoallergenic, and thin for easy wear and washing. The BioSkin calf sleeve provides a firm, uniform fit and reduces pain with running activities.
BioSkin Calf Skin Features:
- The Bio Skin Calf Sleeve provides a thin, contoured fit around the entire leg.
- The shin splint support controls movement and reduces calf muscle vibration which aggravates pain. Works better than shin splint wrap, taping and braces for providing uniform compression.
- May be used on the forearm for strains as well.
- Breathable moisture wicking material transports sweat away from the skin.
The BioSkin Calf Skin is constructed of Ultima 2s which is a three layer laminate material. A soft anti-microbial micro-fleece fits against the skin with nylon lycra on the outside. The Smartskin membrane is sandwiched between two nylon lycra layers for a thin yet strong compressive fabric. The fleece adds comfort and offers greater ability to wick perspiration build-up away from the skin. The result is a material that is thinner, lighter, 45-70% stronger than typical neoprene, is hypoallergenic, and does not lose its elasticity over time.

Available Sizes: For the best fit, keep in mind that BioSkin makes their products specifically for very fit, toned individuals that are serious Athletes. The Calf Skin is also meant to provide a snug fit, but if you are on the border of two sizes and aren't extremely toned, choose the larger of the two sizes. While standing with your feet flat on the floor, measure the circumference around the widest part of the calf as pictured below.
