Model: Thumb Spica Splint Braces
Bauerfeind created the RhizoLoc as a stabilization brace for the treatment of thumb saddle and various thumb injuries. The RhizoLoc thumb spica splint is made of perforated, neoprene-free, felt-like material over a spongy nylon-foam base for pure comfort and no sweating. In addition to being not as stiff as other thumb brace products, this thumb splint cradles and protects the first metacarpal joint with a built-in moldable aluminum stay located across the outside lateral aspect of the thumb for maximum thumb support. This product is a streamlined support whithout material extending up the forearm like other products which makes the RhizoLoc easier to put on and take off. - The thumb splint features a built in aluminum stay that can be molded individually for maximum thumb support stability.
- The thumb splint brace material is neoprene-free and perforated so that it can "breathe", allowing air circulation to keep you cool and dry. This fabric style greatly reduces sweating.
- The thumb brace can be put on and taken off easily with its velcro fastenings.

Available Sizes: Two measurements are required for this product.
Measure the wrist circumference in inches and measure the circumference of the thumb at the joint closest to the nail.
Size 1: Wrist 4 3/4 - 6 5/8, Thumb 2 - 2 3/4
Size 2: Wrist 6 5/8 - 8, Thumb 2 1/2 - 3 1/2
