The soft knitted fabric and silicone support inserts provide additional compression around your ankle bones for localized swelling., It allows for flexible movement than other ankle braces that have stiff plastic inserts. The MalleoTrain has an anatomical knit which provides controlled compression, like an ankle wrap, graduated at the edges to prevent constriction of circulation in your ankle and foot. It's also machine washable.
